The knitted pouffe....how cool are these?

I love these! I don't know why, but I saw one on the cover of last months Home Beautiful and have fallen in love!  I think I might even start a collection - is that slightly mad?

I've discovered Pony Rider!

Wow these guys make the most beautiful textiles and they are all Aussie!

Thanks Pony Rider, you've reignited my passion for cushions, much to my husbands terror!

A little more shopping......

Decorating has always been one of my passions and I am so looking forward to the 'look' I have in my mind all coming together.

Here are a few more items I have purchased recently:

I love this rocker and can't wait to relax with my baby daughter!

These are the perfect stools to complement my kitchen - the Philippe Starck Ghost Stool:

Everybody needs a sidetable, and here are 2 that I purchased for my lounge area:

Oooooohhhhh the excitement is building!

Colours!

On Friday we had our colours appointment.  I must say, after going through the same process with Porter Davis - I really enjoyed the flexibilty offered with BH.  We met the Interior Designer at the Tile Place to discuss all our options.  Throughout the whole process though - she kept reminding us we could change our mind at any stage (This was not the case with PD, if you did you were up for a hefty cost!).

Their standard Tile rage was awesome, in fact we kept within the standard for all our choices.  Again with PD we were up for a $5000K upgrade.  We have decided to go with a very neutral theme : White, Grey, Charcoal, Chocolate and to add our colour through our accessories.

Here is what we have chosen:

Bricks - Austral Hawthorn (with 50mm to Front Facade):

The Roof, Fascia and Gutters will all be Colorbond Shale Grey:

We are having a huge Pivot Entry Door 2340 high and 1200 wide in stained timber to match our timber windows to the front facade:

We have also chosen Haymes 'Surface' for our feature render to the garage and front facade and a timber look garage door to match:

For the internal walls we have decided on Dulux White Duck with trims in Haymes Minimalist:

We are also having Karri Hardwood Flooring installed throughout:

For the Kitchen we are having longline cupboards (with no handles) finished in the CREAtec Ultra High Gloss.  The cupboards will be Ultra White with a feature panel in Carbon Micro at the back of the Island Bench.  We will also have mirrored kickers to the island bench and 80mm Caesarstone in Nougat:

We are also using the CREAtec Ultra White for the Bathroom Vanities, with a Walnut Caesarstone top:

For the Wet Areas we are using a Grey, Brown, Charcoal Tile (That's the only way I know how to describe it!) for the floors and feature shower wall and a large White rectified tile used for remaining walls and splashbacks

For the Kitchen splashback we are going to use the same white tile laid vertically (600mm high) and then behind our cooktop lay a white 10x10 glass white tile:

For now I think that's all - tweet tweet! xx
